Our name reflects our intent

Our Group’s name was chosen with care to reflect who we are and what we have set out to achieve. The Photla Group consists of four companies;

Photla is the northern Sotho word for pod – the organic structure that contains seeds. A pod is a deceptively simple structure, yet it embodies the power and marvel of nature. From a pod springs a seed, a seed that evolves to become a tree which, in turn, creates a unique ecosystem.

Herein lies the value that we want to engender in bringing together SKT Construction, Kalibrate FM, MetroProp and Pendo Investments. Like the pod that provides a safe environment for its precious seeds, the Photla Group of companies integrates seamlessly to create a nurturing habitat by shepherding all aspects of a client’s fixed asset management.

And like a tiny seed that has the energy to become a tree, we want to do our part to make it possible for our clients’ business to grow until it reaches its full potential.
